The arena gates are opening, champions.
Sharpen your blades, ready your bolters, and gather your warband for Swords & Spoons' Second King of the Colosseum Tournament! This fast-paced 600-point Warhammer 40,000 event is designed to reward tactical play, clever list building, and epic battles where every model matters.
Fight through three rounds of intense matched play, with each round lasting 2 hours, as you compete to earn the title of King of the Colosseum.
Important Registration Information
Payment must be made at Swords & Spoons within one week of registering. Players who have not paid within one week may be removed from the event to make room for others.
Army Construction Rules
Maximum 600 points
Your army must include one Warlord
No Epic Heroes
Must include at least two Infantry units that are not Characters
Maximum Toughness is 9 (no units with Toughness 10 or higher)
Maximum of 1 toughness 9 unit
Enhancements are allowed
Rule of One (2026 Format)
Will be using 11th edition
The 11th edition Space Marine Codex (and associated updates) will be used
You can take any detachment of any detachment point cost however you can only have one detachment
The player that spent the least on detachment points gets to choose the twist

No refunds will be issued for last-minute cancellations—choose your quests wisely!
Physical products may be returned within 30 days of purchase if they are unopened, unused, and in their original packaging, accompanied by a valid receipt. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. However, all trading card game (TCG) sales are final, including sealed products and singles. We do not accept returns or exchanges on trading cards.
Used games and consignment items are also final sale, and paints, hobby supplies, and opened games cannot be returned unless defective. If you believe you’ve received a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we’ll do our best to make it right.

'Near Mint condition cards show minimal or no wear from play or handling and will have an unmarked surface, crisp corners, and otherwise pristine edges outside of minimal handling. Near Mint condition cards appear 'fresh out of the pack,' with edges and surfaces virtually free from all flaws. '

'Lightly Played condition cards can have slight border or corner wear, or possibly minor scratches. No major defects are present, and there are less than 4 total flaws on the card. Lightly Played condition foils may have slight fading or indications of wear on the card face. '

'Moderately Played condition cards have moderate wear, or flaws apparent to the naked eye. Moderately Played condition cards can show moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, scratches , creases or fading, light dirt buildup, or any combination of these defects. '
