New Orleans is a city steeped in mystery—where voodoo rites clash with forbidden knowledge, where secret societies lurk behind the facades of decayed mansions, and where music itself may hold terrible power. This setting guide provides Game Masters with everything they need to bring New Orleans, and its sinister sibling Carcosa, to life in their campaigns! From its haunted alleyways and mistshrouded bayous to the labyrinthine politics of its underworld, every corner of the city is ripe for mystery and peril. In addition to detailed lore, this book introduces the Musician, a new archetype attuned to the supernatural cadence of the city, and delves into the eerie influence of Hastur, The King in Yellow. A full-length adventure is also included, offering investigators a harrowing plunge into the city’s most unspeakable horrors.
